Floral First Birthday

Since party design is in my blood, naturally, I was very excited to style Charlie’s first birthday party. I have an obsession with everything floral, so it didn’t take long to know that was what I wanted as the theme. I wanted to keep everything simple and feminine, and it all turned out beautifully. It was a wonderful day to celebrate the birth of our girl!

The dessert table was the focal point of the room. We had so many delicious desserts and of course- flowers everywhere! Fresh eucalyptus and pink peonies were my choices of flowers and greenery.

I purchased a journaling Bible to give to Charlie when she gets older. I am going to fill it with words of wisdom and highlight special verses for her in the meantime. I had it at the party for friends and family to leave something meaningful for her to one day look back on.

No party is complete without bubbles and mini party hats!

(Sorry- this picture was taken from my phone at the end of the party)

I made this floral hoop with her 1-12 monthly photos to match the hoops I made for the dessert table. Guests loved being able to see side-by-side photos of how much she has grown and changed.

She wasn’t too sure about the cake at first, but it wasn’t long before she was eating fistfuls at a time!
